Milica gave a lecture on 17th Photonics Workshop

17th Photonics Workshop was held from 10th – 14th March at the Ski Resort Kopaonik. Milica was invited to give a lecture on her work on diagnostics of Laser Induced Plasma from thin oil film. The talk was entitled Diagnostics of laser-induced plasma from a thin oil film.

Ivan took part in this year ITER International School held in Aix – en – Provence

It is our great pleasure to report that Ivan was accepted to participate in this year ITER International School 2023. The topic of the summer school was Energetic Particles in Fusion Plasmas, where the school gathered leading experts in this filed that gave lectures to the students. Part of the summer school was also dedicated to the visit of ITER site, where students had the opportunity to see the site and to hear recent advances in the construction of the largest tokamak so far.

Milos MilosThis autumn semester, the Institute of Physics hosted the first Media Laboratory*, a free school of scientific journalism. Two of our members, Milica and Biljana, have passed this course.

Fusion Days@BG

Miloš co-organized new edition of nuclear fusion summer school “Fusion Days@BG”, held in small hall of Ilija M. Kolarac Foundation (Belgrade, Serbia) between 25th and 29th September.

Marijana’s visit to ELI Szeged

Marijana visited ELI (Extreme Light Infrastructure) facility at Szeged (Hungary) on July 2017 as part of “Summer school – Lasers in Medicine and Life Sciences”.

Biljana’s visit to IPP Greifswald

Biljana visited W7X stellarator at IPP (Institute of Plasma Physics) in Greisfwald May 2017 as part of “jDPG-Seminar on Plasma Physics – Wendelstein”. Beside that, she also had a tour to the Lubmin nuclear power station where she pushed the red button!

EUROfusion in Serbia

Prof. Škorić and Prof. Kuraica organized a meeting dedicated to present EUROfusion related activities in Serbia. The lectures were held in Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts on 13th and 14th June 2016. EUROfusion was represented by Programme Manager Tony Donné and Chair of General Assembly Jerome Pamela.
