Introduction

I was born in 1963 in Belgrade. I completed TV technician program at Electrical Engineering High School “Nikola Tesla” in 1981. I was studying technical physics at Faculty of Electrical Engineering from 1982 to 1985.

Married, 2 adults children (26 and 21 year old), B driving licence, passive knowledge of English language.

I started to work at the Institute of Physics Belgrade at 1986. I was part of the electronics group which had tasks devoted to switched-mode power supplies (abb. SMPS). Already in 1987 I got open-ended employment contract. From 1989 to 1993 I was assigned in the High Energy Plasma laboratory (plasma rail-gun and linear accelerator) where I got acquainted with the high-voltage power supplies and high-power electrical switching elements (e.g. thyratrons and ignitrons)

In the Lab

Since April 1994 I am a member of the Laboratory. Here I refined my previous knowledge and skills (work with instrumentation) and learned numerous other things (e.g. vacuum technology, gasses and accompanying equipment, optomechanics, optics, data acquisition and processing, graphical design and CAD programs). In the Laboratory, I take care that everything is in the functioning state, installation and realization of the experimental setup with the necessary adaptations, service of the equipment, work with the instrumentation, purchasing and communication with suppliers, coordination with colleagues from the other groups and laboratories. Besides, I am also the main operator of the industrial CO2 laser used for non-metal cutting and engraving.
